Course Descriptions


All AA classes are two hours in length and meet once a week for 30 weeks. Class size is limited to 25 persons. There will be day and night classes for your convenience. Students are required to bring a world analytical King James version study bible. The Smith Bible Dictionary will also be used extensively


Course No. B 101 Course Title: Basic Theology
Description: This course provides students with the general overview of the bible and its teachings according to the Old and New Testiments. Successful completion of this course is a pre-requisite for continuation in theological studies.

Course No. B 102 Course Title: The Bible and Creation of Man
Description: This course covers the various aspects of how the bible came into existance and its correlation to the creation of mankind.

Course No. B 103 Course Title: The Patriarchs
Description: This course covers three areas of the Old Testiment; The Patriarchs, the Israelites in Egypt (in the wilderness and wandering), and the Conquest of Canaan.

Course No. B 104 Course Title: The Kingdom of Israel
Description: Comprehensive coverage of the Kingdom of Israel - The United Kingdom and the Divided Kingdom. Also prophets, such as David and Solomon, and poets of the biblical era will be discussed, including intensive reading of poetic books of the bible, i.e., Psalms, Solomon, Proverbs, etc.

Description: Detailed analysis of Jesus Christ birth, baptism, and teachings to the people of Israel.

Description: Acomparative view of the four gospels (Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John) are analyzed and discussed.

Description: Thorough review of the death and resurrection of Jesus, which includes review of events preceding the crucifixion, significant incidences that took place on the cross, and the resurrection and reaction of the people.

Description: A comprehensive view of sin: the types of sin, consequences of sinning and being disobedient to God, and the "cure" for sin - Jesus Christ.
